#TeamOnsharp continues to grow as Reid Holand joins our development team as a Software Developer. Reid will be an integral part of Onsharp's development sector while he works closely with the rest of the dev team to produce mobile app and custom development solutions for our clients.

Originally from Shoreview, MN, Reid graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2013 with a degree in Maritime Operations (a cross between Marine Transportation and Marine Engineering). Before joining Onsharp's development team, he worked at a small startup called Repathis.

After reading about all of the local tech companies in Fargo and knowing he enjoyed working on a smaller team, Reid chose to apply at Onsharp. From his research, he knew he would get exposure to several different development projects and be given a chance to build on the craft.

Joe Hixson, Director of Operations here at Onsharp, stated that, “As our development needs continue to expand, Reid will assist us in continuing to fulfill our promise of delivering high-quality products to our clients in a timely manner. I am confident that he will perform strongly as a member of our team.”

Get to Know Reid: 3 Fun Facts

  • Reid worked on commercial oil tankers for several years but has never been on a cruise ship 🛳️
  • He knows celestial navigation 🌟
  • He has been to every continent except Antarctica 🌍

When he’s not working, Reid enjoys swimming, ice skating, bowling, and reading.

Welcome to the team, Reid! We're glad you’re here and are excited to see what you will do for our development team.
