We're excited to announce that Steve Gibbs has joined Onsharp as a Software Developer!

Originally from Northome, MN, Steve graduated from M-State Moorhead with a degree in Computer Programming in 2007.  Since graduating, Steve has held a number of relevant positions at companies in Fargo. His experience at these companies has allowed him to gain a wide variety of experience in software development, ultimately leading him to Onsharp.

When asked what made him want to join #TeamOnsharp, Steve shared, “I’m familiar with this type of environment, and I really enjoyed the friendly vibe I got while discussing a position. I’m also excited about the projects I can be part of.”

Joe Hixson shared his enthusiasm for Steve joining the team, saying, “We chose Steve for this role because he has extensive experience and a strong knowledge of software development. We look forward to watching him thrive in his role as he creates custom solutions for our clients.”

Get to Know Steve: 3 Fun Facts

  1. He was the first person in his family to ever own a computer 💻 and his dad still doesn’t have a smartphone. 📱
  2. A couple of years ago, he went elk hunting in the Rockies on horseback. Per Steve, "It was hard not to pretend I was a cowboy." 🐴🤠
  3. While fishing in Florida, he and his crew were catching some bait to go out fishing in deeper water and were attacked by a squadron of pelicans which they had to battle. 🚤⚔️
